Tonight’s watercolor experiment

Somehow this makes me think of Easter eggs.

Black swirly lines on white paper, forming shapes where lines sufficiently cross, those are filled in using watercolor paints. The black ink of the outlines has bled into the color of the shape in several places.

Yesterday’s morning tea. This is my setup at my honey’s: pot with built-in filter, cha hai, and two cups (the second not pictured).

Picture of small glass teapot, pitcher, and one small porcelain tea cup.

Last night’s wine (and tonight’s): Domaine Michel Arcelain Bourgogne Cote d’Or 2018. Took me until tonight to warm up to it, I must not have let it rest enough after opening last night. www.burgundywine.com

Tea!

This was my Christmas wine, Domaine Jean Maréchal Vielles Vigne 2018. I really like this one, I found it light yet full. www.burgundywine.com

Clouds waiting for the sun.

View of the sky and neighbor's roofs from a small-town/suburban back porch: The sun is not yet risen, and streaky clouds are glowing red-pink on their underside in anticipation.

Today’s tea: i love drinking a richly colored puerh tea in this little white porcelain cup. The way the sunlight shines through the cup never fails to please me.

A small white porcelain cup in the chinese or japanese teacup style, full of a rich dark tea, on a porch railing, illuminated by the morning sun.
